Jatinegara Station Disinfected Today

As many as 150 joint personnel sprayed 2 jerry cans of disinfectant liquid in Jatinegara Station, East Jakarta, Monday (3/16). It was done to prevent Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) transmission in public area.

Disinfectant was sprayed from tapping gate, platform, waiting area, and other areas, including door handle.

Jatinegara Sub-district Head, Endang Sofyan said, it was the third times her side involved three pillars in similar activities. Previously, her side also invited those three pillars to disinfect Al Anwar Mosque in Rawa Bunga and SDN Balimester 01.

"As instructed by the leader, we need to clean public areas using disinfectant liquid to prevent COVID-19 transmission," she mentioned.

Rawa Bunga Urban Village Head, Agustina stated, this cleaning involved around 150 personnel from East Jakarta apparatuses, TNI, and Police with assistance from Station personnel.

"Together, we will continue to take precautionary measures by disinfecting other public areas thus COVID-19 cases don't develop," she asserted.

Her side also reminded all people to prior a clean and healthy lifestyle with enough rest, eat healthy and nutritious food, reduce outdoor activities, and others.
